How to Make an Elephant Paper Bag Puppet - Final Picture

Elephants are so interesting and majestic. I never stop being fascinated by them. Well, a great way to learn about elephants is to make one. This is a great elephant craft for kids. It is super easy and really fun. You just need a small paper bag, construction paper, scissors and glue.

How to Make an Elephant Paper Bag Puppet - Materials
What You Need: 
  • Small Paper Bag
  • Construction Paper (grey)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayons/Markers
What You Do: 
  1. Cut out shapes for the ears, tusks and trunk from the construction paper. (Click here for the template for the elephant paper bag puppet or go to the bottom of the instructions.)
  2. Glue the ears to the sides of the paper bag. Glue the tusks and trunk to the top of the flap.
  3. Draw eyes with a crayon/marker. 
  4. Have a puppet show!
